Abstract: The main objective of this paper is to design a robust non-integer order controller for multi input multi output (MIMO) systems. A linear parametric uncertainties fractional order model is used to describe the system dynamic behaviour. Assuming that the system can be decoupled and in order to avoid interactions between system's inputs and outputs, the simple decoupling method has been adopted. In presence of model parameter uncertainties, the controller parameters are obtained by minimising a min-max non-convex optimisation problem. The optimised cost function is expressed using the closed loop system and the desired characteristic polynomial coefficients. So, the proposed controller ensures some closed loop temporal specifications in spite of the presence of model parameters uncertainties. Simulation examples are carried out to show the performance and the efficiency of the proposed controller.
