Abstract: Water consumption management are among the highest priorities of water sector authorities. Given the spectacular advancements in various scientific fields, including communication technologies, IoT is worth mentioning. The use of the IoT to manage water consumption is an important issue, in the field of environment engineering, by using the point-to-point monitoring equipment of water supply network and prevention of water leakage. The primary purpose of this research is to utilise this technology in water resources management. Applying the Arduino sensors and microcontrollers and the transfer of sensor information to the IoT platform in compliance with OPC UA standards and communication devices to store information, analysing data, displaying information and sending it to users, enable us to manage this new IoT-based method to prevent water loss and minimise waste by measuring the level and amount of water entering water resources.
