Abstract: The paper aims at identifying the determinants for enhancing online shopping experience on e-commerce websites. Primary data was collected from 150 respondents in order to understand what factors would help enhance their online shopping experience through ecommerce websites. Factor and regression analysis were used for analysing the data using SPSS. The findings of the study show that payment experience, product experience, and website experience have a significant effect on the online shopping experience of customers using ecommerce websites for shopping. The conceptual model proposed in the paper will be useful to ecommerce vendors in order to understand how to make the shopping experience more satisfying for the customers. It will also help the IT companies who manage the backend of the ecommerce websites in order to make the websites function well and give customers enhanced shopping experience.
