Abstract: Technology acceptance has been an area of research in different context globally. However, studies on the mediating role of trust in the relationships with the technology factors and internet banking acceptance are inadequate. Moreover, component variance analysis with adoption of analysis of moment structures (AMOS) is suggested to be relevant to prediction studies. This study analysed the mediation role of trust in internet banking acceptance. A quantitative and component factors analysis study, properties in SPSS and AMOS were used to analyse a total of 559 bank customers in Nigeria. An initial total of 67% variance was achieved in the casual effect and a total of 73% variance explained was achieved for the mediation role of trust internet banking, thus, implying that trust contributed a total of 6% variance to the model. Findings in this study may assist practitioners' strategies on acceptance of the technology. This study may be replicated in other locations with a different statistical tool.
