Abstract: Power stability is an important fact for the development of power. This power stability is maintained when voltage and current are in phase with each other. More harmonics are generated led to poor output voltage regulation and power factor is reduced. An effective way to achieve power factor correction is attained by power stability analysis. A single-stage PFC three-level converter is proposed by using renewable energy as an input. The proposed converter integrates an AC-DC boost PFC converter into three-level DC-DC converter. A flexible DC link voltage is used to achieve power factor correction at high line voltage. The power factor is improved and output voltage regulation is increased. An enhancement of load efficiency of the converter is obtained by less number of switches. The converter operation is explained and simulated by using renewable energy source as an input. The implementation of hardware is done for PV system and results are determined.
