Abstract: This paper brings together 'systematic understandings' about making changes in businesses. It does so by: 'observing industry practice'; 'applying systems engineering science'; and 'reviewing emergent management theories about asset orchestration'. Thereby the paper proposes the use of an 'Open Source' 'Road Map' for large and medium scale business change projects; that lends a 'conceptual organising structure' for the accomplishment of business change. A practical use of the resulting 'Road Map' is also exemplified at a fairly abstract level.

Keywords: business change; road map; asset orchestration; complex systems engineering; resource-based view; resource orchestration.
