Abstract: Turkey has important growth for renewable energy and has been recorded in a short time, where electricity generation from solar power reached 9,249 GWh and from wind power reached 21,730 GWh by the end of 2019. This study examines the penetration of renewable energy sources to the grid by analysing the current grid situation. In this study, we investigated how much can be met from renewable energy sources over the next decade in Turkey. For this, predictive values of renewable energy sources were found using linear and polynomial regression methods.
