Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to analyse the sustainability of plastic part supply chain and to select the suitable practices for improving sustainability. The knowledge for the experts from the case organisation has been utilised for the analysis. Using the expert's input and literature review, a 13 measure and five practices-based framework were developed. For the analysis, an integrated matrix-digraph approach has been adopted. With the interrelationship score and the inheritance score obtained from the experts, the sustainable manufacturing measures were modelled to assess the sustainable manufacturing practices using DEMATEL and graph theory approach. For the development of the digraph, DEMATEL method is used to establish the interrelationship among the measures. Using the inheritance score obtained from the experts, the practices have been ranked by graph theory approach. The proposed model and the framework will assist the researchers in understanding the role of sustainability in the plastic part supply chain effectively.
