Abstract: The predicament of e-waste has enforced environmental organisations of many countries to develop and adapt policies for e-waste management across the globe, especially in the developing countries like India where it is difficult to adopt and replicate. The aim of this study is to bring out insights that trigger sustainable management and portray a holistic picture of e-waste management. The indication suggests that scaling up the sustainable small and medium enterprises offers local and global authorities an opportunity to tap into the energies, experiences and innovations which will enable them in improving social and environmental conditions. The study concludes with a practical recommended sustainable public private partnership (PPP) model that integrates the informal and formal sectors through a prospecting opportunity for the new age entrepreneur in e-waste entrepreneurship of small and medium enterprises leading to efficient e-waste management system.
