Abstract: The purpose of this research is to diagnose the organisational capacities for the strengthening of social innovation in the Renacer Verde Association, Serranía de las Quinchas Natural Park. The methodology used is based on a unique case study with a participatory action research strategy that interacts with and involves the sample as a transforming actor of its reality. The results show a low level of development of the strategic, operational and infrastructure capacities of knowledge management due to low investment in functional, productive and technological aspects, which prevents a proposal of sustainable value. It can be concluded that organisational capacities represent the possibilities of the optimisation and management of the resources that a company possesses, with differentiating factors originating in the processes of social innovation, related to collaborative action for the solution of social problems and oriented to the generation of value from the recognition of the environment and use of the population's potential.
