Abstract: The hot topics of session initiation protocol (SIP) authentication are mainly hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) digest authentication mechanism and public-key cryptography standards (PKI) authentication mechanism. Among them, the PKI authentication mechanism encounters problems such as long encryption and decryption time and difficult actual deployment. Aiming at the shortcomings of the existing identity authentication mechanism of SIP, start with the chaotic sequence generated by chaotic equations, the dynamic password generation is optimised during the authentication process. A SIP security authentication mechanism based on chaotic equations is proposed. Firstly, improved security authentication scheme is applied in the video intercom system, then the chaotic signal generator on the microcontroller is designed, and finally the improved security authentication scheme is applied into the system. The results show that the system can realise all the functions at design time based on the improved SIP certification.
