Abstract: The paradigm shift from a traditional system of education to e-learning is gaining acceptance worldwide. Thus, the appraisal of its worthiness becomes vital for practical application as an instrument for different environments. The descriptive-analytical method was used in addition to the case study method. A questionnaire was distributed to a sample purposively selected from students of higher education institutes in the state of Gombe in Nigeria, where the sample size was 193 students. The findings show students' high acceptance and believe that e-learning would positively improve the experience in learning.
