Abstract: Game-Based Learning (GBL) refers to the use of application of computer games that promote teaching and learning. GBL, in particular, enhances sense of stimulating interest in visual informatics and is a functional learning approach, opposed to theoretical learning, i.e., meant to learn and enjoy at the same time. In this research, a game-based learning model with visual features has been proposed and tested. Promising feedback was received from learners through the post conducted surveys. The research findings exhibit that GBL is an effective methodology in transferring knowledge, enhancing learning, and making the learning a more enjoyable process in learning technology than just the theoretical approach.

Keywords: binary games; game-based learning; theoretical learning; digital learning.
