Abstract: This study examines global values in relation to ultimate development goals and possible social and economic development models for global society in the era of digital transformations. The authors identify three models that can be considered within the context of today's development challenges often referred to as 'the Fourth Industrial Revolution' with its rapidly emerging technologies and broad-based innovation. These models are shaped in accordance with their development purposes which tend to establish their own relationship between the individual, business community, government and global society. Understanding the conditions for achieving the ultimate goal of the global society and propounding a long-term strategy for sustainable development constitute the major findings of the research. The strategy involves harmonisation of the different and divergent interests of various social groups and is aimed at creating a new social environment that is in line with the technologies of the 21st century.
