Abstract: Diffusion of innovation is used to measure and assess change. Understanding the communication channel within diffusion of innovation can help human resource management representatives manage change. This study uses a mixed methodology to identify and compare the goals, expectations, and perceived outcomes stakeholders held for the Faculty Development Institute (FDI). They had similar expectations for the outcomes during and/or immediately following the initial workshop, but differed in their expectations of the long-term outcomes.
