Abstract: In this paper, the performance of a decode-and-forward Partial Relay Selection (PRS) based energy harvesting cooperative system with outdated Channel State Information (CSI) is presented. The system relay nodes utilise time switching protocol scheme to harvest energy and Maximum Ratio Combining (MRC) technique is considered for the signal reception at the destination. Specifically, the analytical closed-form expressions for the system outage probability and throughput are derived. The accuracy of these expressions is then validated through Monte-Carlo simulations. The effects of the channel and system parameters are illustrated. In addition, our findings demonstrate that the increase in these parameters may either improve or degrade the performance of the concerned system.
