Abstract: Technology or know-how commercialisation is one of the actual barriers in research institutes. In this paper, we try to develop a comprehensive process framework for the commercialisation of new technologies that can be used for petroleum products. The framework will begin from strategy-making in a research institute to commercialisation of the know-how and bringing it to market. Based on this framework, a systematic model was developed to evaluate the features of new technologies and to estimate optimistic, pessimistic and actual prices. When the validity of the model was certified, it was put to test for some petrochemical products at Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI). Finally, the results of the model are presented.
