Abstract: This paper sorts out the research status of work-family balance at home and abroad, and finds that the theory and evidence of work-family balance in China's localisation context can be further expanded. According to behavioural science theory, on the basis of literature research and business interviews, an initial entry of the scale is formed. Then, a scale of 16 items in four dimensions was obtained through the way of exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and reliability test. The empirical research results show that the work-family balance scale in the Chinese context revised in this paper has good reliability and validity, and they can clearly reflect the Chinese culture and realistic situation with Chinese characteristics. These can provide more measuring tools for the research of work-family balance in China. It also provides a good tool for dealing with environmental and social factors in production and operations management.
