Title: Influencing innovativeness of enterprises by selected HRM practices

Abstract: Enterprises can influence and shape the behaviour of individuals in order to boost the innovativeness of the enterprise by applying HRM practices. The objective of the study is to identify relations between the application of a coherent bundle of HRM practices and internal sources of innovation, effectiveness of the individual phases of the innovative process, and the novelty scale of the innovation. The study was conducted among 92 innovative enterprises in Poland. The study is based upon an original bundle of HRM practices in six HRM areas significant for an innovative enterprise. The results show that there are relationships between the bundle of HRM practices and the innovativeness of an enterprise viewed in three aspects. Therefore, this article contributes to theory by original complementary approach to HRM practices and innovativeness of the enterprises. Analysis of the study resulted in a broad set of managerial implications of usage of HRM practices.
