Abstract: Dotcom-based start-ups have steered their existence, sailing through rough weather, undergoing turbulence, i.e., volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous times, termed as VUCA. The objective of this research is to discover the VUCA challenges that the dotcom enterprises have undergone in the last decade, keeping in mind the ontological and epistemological dimensions and the foresighted required for survival in a world of chaos. An influential case selection technique was administered, where one case was selected that influenced the identified findings among a set of similar cases. BookMyShow (BMB), as the incumbent entrepreneurial firm, from the dotcom space was chosen for the study. This research reflects that in the age of turbulence, dotcom-based enterprises (or entrepreneurial firms) should 'think like a futurist', with new leadership literacies engaging 'foresight and innovation', while moving swiftly acquiring a 'strategic foresight', emanating from hindsight-insight-foresight combination.
