Abstract: This paper presents the results of experiments on the deposition of carbon nanoparticles on a metal surface and the production of carbon nanostructured surfaces by pulsed plasma deposition. The experiments were carried out on the installation of a pulsed plasma accelerator IPU-30, which consists of coaxially arranged copper electrodes. To obtain a nanostructured surface, the following experiment was carried out; a graphite grid and a metal substrate were successively located in the path of the pulsed plasma flow. Nanocarbon particles are the product of erosion, which appear when the flow of plasma through the system occurs - a graphite grid. The interaction of pulsed plasma with the surface of the plate is accompanied by heating of the particles and their pulling out, where the particles that appear follow the plasma, creating a moving plasma-dust cloud, and are deposited on the surface of the metal substrate, thereby forming a carbon nanostructured surface. The experiments were carried out at discharge voltages of 4-6 kV and gas pressure of 2 × 10-2 Torr.
