Abstract: In this paper, we presented a model to implement an IMS based on a systemic approach and risk-based thinking at TAMCO, a servicing company in the heavy lifting industry. Moreover, we calculated the risk priority number to sustainably monitor risks and opportunities. We also examined the literature, the IMS process, and experiences of other companies. We identified many benefits such as making better decisions, enhancing communication, continuously considering and managing risks, improving organisational efficiency, creating a positive image of the company, and more caring about the environment. We considered new parts published in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, considering interested parties' needs and expectations. Thus, we provided a link between processes and risks/opportunities according to interested parties' needs and expectations. We pointed out two major aspects to keep an organisation's competitiveness in the market, including risk-based thinking and meeting interested parties' needs and expectations.
