Abstract: Acting with ethics means considering the implications of actions and the welfare of others, addressing environmental sustainability and seeking personal growth. From this perspective, the ethical project of life (EPL) emerges as a process of concrete actions in which people develop holistically applying universal values. Considering its conceptualisation and its key axes, an instrument was designed to evaluate the EPL. For its validation, the instrument underwent a review process from three experts, expert judgment, and a pilot group of university students. The experts made suggestions to improve aspects such as instructions, items and descriptors. In the expert judgment, all items and descriptors presented content validity (mean > 3.0, Aiken's V > 0.80, LCI > 0.50) in terms of relevance, and in drafting, an item was identified as requiring some improvement. Pilot group showed a high degree of satisfaction with the instrument. The proposed rubric is relevant to evaluate the EPL, since the elements and aspects in this instrument are meaningful indicators of what is intended to evaluate.
