Abstract: The production safety accidents in the shipbuilding industry in China frequently occur nowadays. Based on the key technology of the Internet of Things (IoT) as the communication basis, this paper designs a new type of shipbuilding safety monitoring system based on wireless communication. The wireless heterogeneous network is organically formed to solve the special problem of shielding of ship airtight steel structure, as well as the problem of networking in the bad working condition. It adopts multi-sensor coordination and pattern recognition technology to achieve reliable collection and intelligent processing of environmental information and human body information. The system adopts network management to realise the connection between all items and networks, based on multi-sensor real-time monitoring and intelligent analysis of various physiological conditions and surrounding environmental conditions, combined with RFID technology and ZigBee technology for identity security identification, and finally the collected information is transmitted to the host computer and Android client through WiFi.
