Abstract: This articles presents hydro-elastic response of surrounded carbon nanotubes (CNTs) armed pipes as functionally graded (FG) with internal fluid. The elastic foundation is simulated by orthotropic temperature-dependent Pasternak model. Shell Flugge model is utilised for modelling of pipe. Utilising principal of Hamilton, the motion final equations are obtained. A numerical approach is utilised for deriving the critical velocity of fluid. The influences of different variables of CNTs volume fraction, elastic foundation and geometrical variables are presented. Outcomes revel that reinforcing the pipe by CNTs lead to higher critical velocity of fluid.
