Subsequently, primary data was gathered from 213 SMEs decision makers and a multinomial logistic regression analysis was performed to analyse the data. The results indicate that firm-level factors such as firm size, educational qualification, work experience, gender, ownership pattern, intellectual property rights ownership of the firm, and initial investment made significantly influence the adoption of innovation approach.
