Abstract: Nowadays, Rwanda's peat has a quick scientific understanding but not at the level it should be, based upon current advanced of energy generation. Rwanda has peat land around about 80% in high latitudes region and its exploitation could provide energy for electricity or any other energy use. KSW Ltd., the case study for this research, is one of the factories where peat energy could be used to replace the mixture of fire wood and bagasse hence reducing environmental problem due to deforestation: the current significant cause of global warming and source of firewood energy for KSW Ltd. This paper provides the current steam process generation based upon the review of the previous experiment conducted on peat energy use in Rwanda and also flow sheeting the design to produce steam using suitable peat to preheat pressurised water circulating in boiler's tubes. This process gives a theoretical maximum steam temperature of 585°C and the high pressure header turbine for electricity generation of 154.74 MMBtu/hr. at an energy loss flow of 6.05 MMBtu/hr.; since considering the heating area, the mass of fuel and mass of water being vaporised with an intermediate of the external condition and process medium.
