Abstract: This study addresses the spatial and immersive limitations of traditional 2D digital art creation by developing a VR-based framework across five stages: conception, 3D modelling, rendering, interaction, and output. Comparing VR, 2D drawing, and AR/projection approaches, results show VR significantly enhances immersion (6.96) and multisensory feedback (6.86) by reducing cognitive load in spatial translation, though its operational convenience (6.52) lags behind 2D drawing. The findings confirm VR's advantages in immersion and perceptual coordination while restructuring creative workflows. The proposed ICEM model and 'space-action-feedback' mechanism establish general principles for immersive creation, offering a validated framework to guide tool selection and optimise VR creative processes for educators and developers.
