Abstract: Diplomacy, once confined to formal negotiations between sovereign states, has undergone a profound transformation in recent decades. The growing interdependence of global systems, technological, ecological, financial, and informational, has blurred the lines between domestic and foreign policy, public and private interests, and formal and informal actors. In this context, diplomacy has become a fluid, multi-level, and interdisciplinary enterprise that navigates not only power but also knowledge, trust, emotion, and complexity.

Keywords: foreign policy; public interests; private interests.
