Abstract: Installation risks remain a critical challenge in fully precast residential construction, particularly in dense urban environments. Existing studies often assess managerial importance and operational severity separately, limiting effective prioritisation. This study systematically integrates the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) with a probability-impact risk matrix using expert evaluations from fifty precast professionals, triangulated with data from fifty-eight completed projects in Bangkok. Results reveal a divergence between managerial perceptions, which prioritise planning and coordination, and operational realities, where structural installation and connection defects exhibit the highest severity. By synthesising these dimensions into a risk priority index (RPI), the study proposes an integrated decision-support framework that enhances risk-informed resource allocation and project performance in urban precast construction.
