Abstract: This research employs bibliometric and text-mining analyses to provide a comprehensive assessment of the literature on university students' mental health and well-being. The study uses metadata extracted from 8085 journal articles sourced from the Web of Science database, spanning 32 years, from 1990 to January 2023. The findings offer valuable insights that can inform the enhancement of mental health awareness, interventions and support systems specifically tailored for university students. The study recommends strategies for improving health support systems, taking into account cultural values and advocates for increased research collaboration to address global mental health challenges. Additionally, it provides actionable insights for administrators and practitioners to expand and enhance programs that promote students' mental health and well-being.
