Abstract: In order to improve the volatility and half confidence of evaluation results and optimise the effectiveness of gamified teaching, this paper explores the application of ARCS learning motivation model in evaluating the effectiveness of gamified teaching. Firstly, collect and classify evaluation data from both online and offline perspectives. Then, using the ARCS learning motivation model, construct an evaluation index system, analyse the reliability and weight of the indicators and calculate the priority of the indicators based on the Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Finally, combined with fractal evaluation algorithm, the comprehensive score of the evaluation object is calculated. The experiment showed that the volatility of the evaluation results obtained by this method remained below 0.15%, and the split-half reliability remained between 0.8 and 1.0, indicating that the evaluation results obtained after applying this method were more reliable.
