Abstract: Educational technologies have transitioned from traditional to digital formats, becoming essential to global university education. E-learning tools, in particular, have significantly enhanced educational experiences. However, while e-learning is well-established in some countries, it is still emerging in economically developing nations, facing notable adoption challenges. This study explores the factors affecting university students' readiness to engage with e-learning. Data from 420 university students were collected from July 2023 to April 2024 through a survey and analysed using structural equation modelling (SEM) with Smart PLS 3.0. The study examines independent variables such as complexity, relative advantage, facilitating conditions, perceived enjoyment, and self-management learning, which are crucial for the acceptance and use of educational technology applications in higher education. The novel approach of this pilot study integrates various variables, revealing that greater complexity and relative advantages of e-learning applications reduce the intention to use such technologies. Meanwhile, other factors has significantly influence adoption.
