Abstract: In order to solve the problems of low accuracy and long time in locating interphase short circuit faults in digital distribution networks, this paper proposes fault location method for interphase short circuit in digital distribution network based on genetic algorithm. Firstly, the digital distribution network structure is determined. Then, the characteristics of interphase short circuit faults in digital distribution networks are identified. Finally, the interphase short circuit fault of digital distribution network is located. The results show that the proposed method can effectively improve the accuracy of fault location, and the location time is shorter.
