Special Issue on: "Evolution of Health and Sustainable Development"

Guest Editors:
Prof. M. Rajesh, KRS College of Engineering, India

The purpose of this special issue is to broaden discussions on health, environment and sustainable development, which are of worldwide concern today. Countries face a myriad of problems relating to poverty and also a lack of basic services, as well as large-scale, rapid industrialisation, urbanisation and technological development. Problems are often simultaneously local and global. Key milestones which have shaped recent thinking and approaches to dealing with health and environmental problems in the context of sustainable development are highlighted, and the challenges faced by the health sector are outlined.

We aim to find empirical evidence on the continuous improvements of business and sustainable development in different parts of the world, which extend the opportunities in business, globalisation and sustainable development. Excellence in research is the key to benefiting academics, businesses, society and other relevant stakeholders at local, national, regional and international levels. We aim to disseminate information and encourage the creation of a leading learning organisation to cope with the demands of sustainable development throughout the world. This effort will build networks between research and publication, academic and society, the government and private sectors, and across diverse interest groups. Therefore, we hope to enhance the depth of understanding about societal innovation under various sub-themes of business and sustainable development. Further, it will provide empirical evidence on innovation used in businesses across the globe for sustainable development, providing a platform for the researchers, academicians, professionals, practitioners and students to impart and share knowledge in the form of high quality empirical and theoretical research papers, case studies, literature reviews and book reviews.

We welcome and acknowledges high quality theoretical and empirical original research papers, case studies, review papers, literature reviews and book reviews from researchers, academicians, professional, practitioners and students from all over the world.

Areas of research to be considered are listed below. Papers may include one or more of the listed sub-topics. Unlisted but related sub-topics are also acceptable, provided they fit in one of the following main areas.

The issue will carry revised and substantially extended versions of selected papers presented at the Fourth International Conference on Advanced Research in Engineering and Applied Sciences (ICAREAS 17), but we also strongly encourage researchers unable to participate in the conference to submit articles for this call.
