Prof. Deepshikha Bhargava, Dr. Ramesh C. Poonia and Swapnesh Taterh, Amity University Rajasthan, India
Recent booming developments of web-based technologies and mobile applications has facilitated a dramatical growth of new techniques' implementations. Enabling a smart life has become a popular research topic with an urgent demand. Therefore, we will focus on different innovations and interdisciplinary research work in the area of smart converging technologies.
We will not only take stock of trends and developments in the globally competitive environment, but we will also provide future directions to young researchers and practitioners. This special issue would be of immense benefit to researchers, academicians, industry and participants from technical institutes, R & D organisations and students working in the field of smart converging technology.
The issue will carry revised and substantially extended versions of selected papers presented at the International Conference on Smart Computing and Communication (SmartTech-2017), but we also strongly encourage researchers unable to participate in the conference to submit articles for this call.
Suitable topics include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Bio-inspired optimisation
- Community information systems
- Digital photogrammetry
- Remote sensing, GIS and GPS
- Disaster management
- DNA computing/ neuro informatics
- Forest genomics and informatics
- Green computing
- Healthcare informatics
- Hybrid evolutionary algorithms/ hybrid Intelligent systems
- Agricultural informatics and communication/ irrigation informatics
