Abstract: Electronic voting poses unique design challenges, simultaneously requiring extensive security, universal access and strict privacy. Results of British focus group research into electronic voting usability are presented. Recommendations flow, which follow the principle that electoral processes must be designed around the accurate transmission and aggregation of all voters| uncoerced wishes.
