Abstract: In this paper, we proposed a reversible image watermarking algorithm in the integer wavelet domain. We first perform integer wavelet transform on digital image, and then search the peak point of histogram of difference of adjacent integer wavelet coefficients in each sub-band. Integer wavelet coefficients are modified using reversible embedding method according to the value of peak point in corresponding sub-band. As the peak point in the histogram is high and the modification of wavelet coefficients is small, the proposed algorithm guarantees the marked image has higher embedding capacity with lower image degradation. To further improve embedding capacity, the proposed method may apply to the marked wavelet coefficients repeatedly. Experimental results demonstrate the proposed method can gain more embedding data but keeping good image quality.
