Computer-aided engineering curriculum in a university environment

Abstract: In this paper we identify the technologies that are the basis of computer-aided engineering. We discuss the integration of these technologies, leading to the complex chain that an engineer of the future has to use and the engineering education required to use these technologies effectively. A description is given of computer-aided engineering education at the Technical University of Nova Scotia, Canada.
