Hand punch movement kinematics of boxers with different qualification levels

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to investigate temporal and spatio-temporal characteristics of right-hand cross of 18 boxers at various proficiency levels. Boxers carried out punches from different positions: (1) in full coordination, (2) with lower limbs fixed, and (3) with lower limbs and trunk fixed. Results revealed kinematical features of cross punch and identification of causes for potential deviations in the technique of punching.
