Title: The impact of perceived organisational support and organisational citizenship behaviour on turnover intention: an empirical investigation

Abstract: This study examines the relationships between perceived organisational support (POS), organisational citizenship behaviour (OCB) and turnover intentions; and the mediating role of OCB on perceived organisational support and turnover intentions. The population under study was all experts from the National Iranian Drilling Company as an empirical case study. Finally, 140 questionnaires were analysed based on structural equation modelling using SMART PLS software. Results showed that there is a significant positive relationship between perceived organisational support and organisational citizenship behaviour. Also, there is a negative significant relationship between perceived organisational support and turnover intention. The meditating role of OCB is supported in relation to the perceived organisational support and turnover intention.
