Abstract: With the increasing development of technology, threats for data breaching grows exponentially. Hence, security for data storage and data transmission becomes an important issue for users. Security provided by traditional cryptography and steganography has become vulnerable to severe attacks. DNA cryptography emerges as a solution by providing unbreakable algorithms. DNA cryptography requires the knowledge of both biology and computer domain. In this paper, the authors present a new system of data security by using arithmetic and biological processes. The proposed system will provide security of two levels.

Keywords: deoxyribonucleic acid; DNA cryptography; steganography; data security; complementary rule.
