Abstract: This paper studied the detection of pipeline corrosion crack acoustic emission signal, using a Nielsen-Hsu pencil break method to simulate the fault detection of lead pipe crack. According to the actual detection phenomenon and the collected data, this article analyzes the crack signal attenuation in the communication process, the impact of the time difference measurement method for locating, as well as the reason of generating false location and leakage location. According to the time difference positioning method, compensation method is presented to change the signal attenuation (timing parameters, measuring the actual velocity, drawing the decay curves compensation), The time difference positioning method is reconstructed to verify the effect of making more precise positioning accuracy, error rate of less than 5%.
