Abstract: Microfinance steps into a rapid growth stage and becomes a very important business of Chinese commercial banks. According to characteristics of Chinese microfinance and principals of balanced scorecard, this study designed the performance evaluation system from five dimensions and analysed the performance of microfinance of bank in combination with the rough set and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. To develop an objective and scientific evaluation system, this study used rough set theory to determine each indicator's objective weight by introducing information volume to define the importance conception. Then, this study built the grey fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method which is based on the rough set and used the matrix of grey fuzzy evaluation and the weight vector to process fuzzy calculation and normalisation and finally got the fuzzy evaluation result. This study evaluated the performance of small and micro enterprise microfinance of eight branches of China Harbin Bank. By using above system, this study got a better evaluation results, proved the effectiveness and practicability of the evaluation system.
