Abstract: Based on characteristics such as airport construction difficulties and high demands of confidentiality as well as demands of bird strike prevention, a new wireless control network framework in the bird repellent system is put forward. By introducing shortwave radio technology and ZigBee wireless transmission technology, the remote and close wireless transmission technology combined two-layer heterogeneous wireless control network at the airport is built. To reduce the times of signal shock occurred in the process of transmission, equipment silent mechanism is put forward, and silent time and duration can be calculated according to the geographical location of facilities. To improve the system robustness, a variety of transmission protocols are designed, which can guarantee smooth signal transmission at the utmost when system facilities break down. The actual engineering application results prove valid for this design.
