Abstract: Mankind must begin to see itself as part of a single community. This is particularly necessary in view of the growing internationalisation of problems ranging from pollution to global warming. In this connection, this paper discusses the establishment of the Global Challenges Network, an organisation dedicated to creating co-operative solutions to international problems.
