Abstract: The real answer to the sustainable development challenge is in the application of the thermodynamics laws, on their Prigogine interpretation in the economy and in greater use of Erkenntnis (know-how + knowledge), the forgotten factor of production, which is the only way to reverse the run to collapse of the world economy.
