Abstract: To stay in ever growing global market, it is an essential prerequisite to understand and practice principles of supply chain (SC). Performance of a SC is characterised by its ability to remain responsive without losing the integration through its chain. Measuring supply chain performance can facilitate a greater understanding of the supply chain, positively influence supply chain players' behaviour, operations of supply chain and improve its overall performance. This papers aims at reviewing literature related to supply chain performance measurement. It refers 89 papers from several distinguished science cited journals. It is found that several researchers have considered performance measures parameters for the supply chain measurement, however, they have not included measurement of parameters of performance for agile supply chain.

Keywords: empirical study; performance measurement; supply chain performance; supply chain metrics; supply chain management; SCM; literature review; performance management; agile supply chains; supply chain agility.
