Abstract: The purposes of this study are to understand environmental and fishing-related concerns and to identify homogenous groups of Red River anglers using data collected from the 2004 Louisiana Fishing Survey. Eight statements describing environmental and fishing-related concerns were condensed into two attitudinal dimensions: Surroundings and Catch. The K-means cluster analysis was performed with a three-cluster solution: Harvest concerns, Atmosphere concerns, and General concerns groups. Results of this study can be used to frame scenarios for recreational fisheries management purposes in Louisiana Red River area.
