Abstract: An approach which includes joint use of resistance laws, PBL, and diffusion models, coordinated with the method of moments has been developed. The influence of a set of turbulent regimes, parameterised by external parameters in similarity format, on diffusion processes in PBL has been studied on this basis.

Keywords: resistance laws; turbulence; turbulent regimes; air quality; air pollution; atmospheric dispersion modelling; planetary boundary layer; PBL; diffusion moments; statistical moments; inversion slope baroclynic effects.
